What does the system consist of?
Your therapist will use exclusive massage techniques offered by mesoestetic to enhance treatment effectiveness and assist the absorption of active ingredients into the skin. In addition, using the products found in the home treatment line at the same time boosts results and favours integral silhouette remodelling.

How many sessions are recommended?
It is recommended to complete 10 sessions for maximum results. They should be performed twice weekly, every week, for five weeks.
What areas can be treated with the bodyshock?
There are six specific areas, each with its own massage technique; Double chin, Arms, Breasts, Abdomen and Flanks, Buttocks and Legs. With a specific stretch mark targeting booster within the range too.
What are the common causes of cellulite?
Smoking can trigger alterations to the body’s microcirculation. It reduces the amount of blood that reaches the periphery of the body and blocks tissue oxygenation. Salt is also known to cause fluid retention and sugar hardens collagen to such an extent that skin loses its elasticity. However, other factors such as lifestyle i.e. physical activity, can play a role.
Is it true overweight people have more cellulite?
This is one of the most common misconceptions of cellulite. Cellulite is more closely related to hormones, exercise and physical activity. Dieting alone does not reduce cellulite. Cellulite is located in the upper level of the skin which is why when dieting, fatty tissue and volume are reduced but cellulite does not disappear.
What does the homecare consist of?
There are four homecare products within this range and a choice of two supplements.
Bodyshock Intensive Mist a 2 phase concentrated mist that has a fat busting effect to reduce localised fat in problem areas. To use shake the product and unfasten by rotating left until the mechanism is unlocked. Place the product at a distance of 20 cm from the skin and press the bottom of the bottle to spray the solution. Apply evenly with a gentle, circular massage until fully aborbed. Apply before bodyshock celluxpert, bodyshock firm’up or bodyshock essential cream Apply before exercise for better results.
Bodyshock celluxpert Cream-gel prevents and visibly reduces orange peel skin. The combination of active ingredients provide a powerful stimulating action to drain and reduce the appearance of cellulite. It incorporates an exclusive applicator with glass spheres to allow penetrations of the active ingredients. To use rotate the headpiece to the ON position and apply the product with a circular massage. Rotate the headpiece to off and continue the massage until fully absorbed
Bodyshock firm’up Firming cream for areas where skin has become loose and flaccid provides an immediate tightening effect. Apply daily with the help of the massage roller with a gentle upward massage until fully absorbed. Especially beneficial on the upper arms, tummy, inner thigh and breast area.
Bodyshock essential cream Quick absorbing moisturising cream that provides an immediate feeling of freshness and softness. With active repairing ingredients to prevent the appearance of stretch marks. Promotes tissue repair and restructuring. Apply daily on the entire body or on the desired area, with a light circular massage until the product is fully absorbed.
Grascontrol L-carnitine – mobilising Nutritional supplement that favours the use of fatty acids as a source of energy
Grascontrol Artichoke extract – purifying, detox Nutritional supplement based on artichoke extract with diuretic, purifying and detoxifying action
Have these results been proven and what results have been achieved?
At mesoestetic all treatments and products are tested through in-vitro and in-vivo testing, with human volunteers. This particular treatment in in-vivo testing has demonstrated visible results from the first session, for the treatment of flaccidity - increase in collagen I, III and VII a reduction in AGE’s and a reduction in Neprilysin which degrades elastin, showing a repairing and restructuring effect. For the treatment of stretch marks - an increase of structural protein, Collagen I and II, increase in elastin production and a decrease in Neprilysin which breaks down elastin fibres.
Is there a particular diet recommended alongside the treatment?
Eating a healthy, balanced diet, intentional movement and good lifestyle choices all benefit and maximise the results of the treatment.
Is it recommended to continue the homecare following the course of professional treatments?
To achieve maximum results, each client should be using the homecare products at home alongside the in-clinic treatments performed twice weekly. Following the ten sessions to maintain results, you can continue your home care regime.
