IPL Hair Removal
Ellipse IPL offers clinically-proven, safe and effective permanent removal of unwanted hair with most clients experiencing a huge reduction in hair density after only 4-6 treatments.
IPL uses broad-spectrum light to target the hair follicles, reducing hair growth over time. The Intense Pulsed Light is attracted to melanin so it is absorbed into the hair which causes a heat reaction to destroy the follicle.
Our treatment sessions are fast as we can cover large areas in a shorter time, compared to other hair removal methods. Ideal for men and women, IPL hair removal is particularly effective for hair removal on the legs, arms, back and chest. We usually recommend a course of 6-8 treatments at four to six week intervals because IPL is only successful on the hairs that are in their growing stage.

IPL Skin Rejuvenation
Photo rejuvenation is a safe and effective treatment for repairing pigmentation and diffused redness, and removing thread veins. Using the latest Ellipse IPL technology, our skilled specialists can target uneven pigmentation on the face and body.
The treatment works by directing controlled pulses of light into the upper skin layer. If you have age spots or redness, the light is absorbed by the melanin in the pigmented areas and converted into heat which breaks down the melanin.
With thread veins, the energy from the laser is converted into heat which damages the inner lining of the blood vessel wall. This breaks down the thread veins and your body removes the waste naturally through the lymphatic system.
Typically, body areas suitable for treatment are face, neck, décolleté and the hands but we can treat any areas so please book a consultation so we can assess your needs. For optimal results, clients usually need a course of treatments. Each session is quick and you can resume your normal daily routine afterward
