Advanced Electrolysis
A Permanent Solution for Hair Removal & Skin Blemish Treatment at our Warrington Skin Clinic
Electrolysis is widely recognised as a permanent hair removal method. However, advanced electrolysis techniques are also highly effective for removing skin tags, moles, and other skin blemishes.
This procedure is especially effective for small, superficial skin blemishes. A fine probe delivers a small electrical current directly to the base of the skin growth, causing the blood supply there to coagulate. This destroys the targeted tissue, so the growth gradually withers and falls off. The process is precise, focusing solely on the affected area, which helps minimise damage to the surrounding skin.
Electrolysis is particularly effective in removing skin tags - benign growths commonly found in areas where the skin folds. Moles, depending on their type and depth, can also be treated using this method. However, it's crucial to have moles assessed by a healthcare professional to ensure they are not malignant before proceeding with removal.
One of the significant advantages of electrolysis is its permanence. Once a skin blemish is removed through electrolysis, it is unlikely to return, providing a long-lasting solution. The procedure is also quick, with minimal discomfort and little to no downtime.
